A right to privacy exists, including, but not limited to, sexual privacy.

1)  Neither the United States nor any State may make or enforce any laws that regulate private sex acts between consenting adults unless a compelling reason of the public’s physical health exists.

2)  Neither private nor Internet gambling may be prohibited and may be regulated only when a compelling public interest exists.

3)  The names, likenesses, and other information about arrested persons may be published only when they have confessed, been caught in the act, been caught on camera, or been formally charged.

4)  Neither the names nor the likenesses of living crime victims or witnesses may be published without their consent.

I'm a long-ago poli sci graduate of New College in Sarasota, Florida. These ideas have been rattling around in my head for years, many of them obvious, some of them unlikely, and I've decided to post them here to see if anyone else sees things as I do. I disabled the WordPress comments because of spam, abuse, and people selling things. But you can send comments to me at [email protected]. I hope you enjoy the site.
